This study was conducted from January to March 2017 in Cavite State University Don Severino de las Alas Campus, to determine the domestic and international students’ perception in the school climate in terms of the three dimensions: physical dimension, social dimension and academic dimension. Specifically, this study aimed to identify the socio-demographic profile of the domestic and international students of Cavite State University; to describe the school climate as perceived by the students in terms of: physical dimension, social dimension and academic dimension; and to determine the difference between the perception of domestic and international students regarding on school climate in Cavite State University. Descriptive method of research was used to analyze the perception of the domestic and international students about the school climate. Simple random sampling was used in selecting the international participants using fish bowl technique from the list 93 students, while quota sampling was used in selecting the domestic participants. The Slovin’s formula was used as 5 percent as the margin error to determine the sample size of international students The participants of the study were 150 students which were composed of 75 domestic and 75 international students from Cavite State University. The researchers used an adapted and slightly modified survey questionnaire. The participants used a 5 point Likert scale to rate the statements for each dimension. Mean, frequency and percentage were used to determine the socio-demographic profile of the participants. To describe the school climate perceived by the students, mean and standard deviation were used. Mann. The Whitney test was used to distinguish the difference between the perception of domestic and international students regarding the school climate in Cavite State University. The results show that domestic and international students shared the same perception in the three dimensions: physical, social and academic dimension. However, on the physical dimension both participants rated “moderately satisfactory” while in social dimension the participants rated “satisfactory” same as in academic dimension the participants rated “satisfactory”. On the other hand, the participants were “satisfied” with the overall school climate in Cavite State University. Based on the results of the study, there is no significant difference between the perception of the domestic and international students of the school climate.
