Abstract: This farm practice was an income generating project. This resulted to better income through the application of the different technique used on corn production. This project was conducted in Barrio Pulo ni Sara, Maragondon, Cavite for a period of three months. The primary aim of the project was to maximize the profit of farmers through the use of appropriate technologies in corn production. A 2,000 square meter land was used for corn production. The area was plowed and harrowed twice to eliminate the weeds and to ensure proper levelling and pulverizing of the soil. Five kilos of corn seeds were planted in the prepared furrows at a distance of 70 centimeters. Two seeds were planted in each furrow at a distance of 50 centimeters between hills. One half of complete fertilizer (14-14-14) was applied at planting time. The remaining half was side dressed before hilling-up or when the corns were already knee-high. Cultivation was done 20 days after planting. Harvesting was done 75 days after planting and marketed to the nearest public market at V0.50 per ear.
