Abstract: VERANO, JEDD A. and VERANO, JEMM A. Development of Library System of Saint Gregory Indang, Cavite Undergraduate Thesis. Bachelor of Science in Information Technology, Cavite State University, Indang Cavite. May 2018. Adviser: Ms. Lydia D. Perido. The study entitled, "Development of Library System of Saint Gregory Academy, Indang, Cavite" was conducted to provide an automated system that addresses the issues of using manual process in the Library, recording students and books, searching books, and monitoring status of books. The system has two user types: the admin/librian and the students. The stem has five (5) modules: book module, search module, account module transaction and, report module. The system was developed with the use of the following development tools: PHP as the programming language; Adobe Photoshop for the design of the system; Sublime as the text editor and PHP server as the database of the system. Iterative Development as the development methodology was used which has seven phases; Planning, Requirements, Analysis and Design, Implementation, Testing, Deployment and Evaluation Phase. The system was evaluated based on the given criteria; Functionality, Reliability, Usability, Efficiency, Maintainability, Portability, and User-Friendliness. Evaluators were composed of the following: Information Technology (I.T.) experts and students from Saint Gregory Academy Indang, Cavite. The system passed all the given criteria in the evaluation and met all the requirements of the software.
