Abstract: A Farm Practice on Raising Peanut was conducted at Barangay Gregorio, Trece Martires City, Cavite from September 1982 to January 1983. It aimed to find out how peanut would thrive in the said place and to determine the cost and return of producing peanut. A 3,000 square meter field was plowed and harrowed two times at an interval of one week. This was done to pulverize the soil properly and to have better aeration. It also enhanced the trashes to decay. Planting was done on the last week of September. Seeds were planted in furrows twenty centimeters apart and were covered with soil. One bag of complete fertilizer (14-14-14) was applied by broad-cast method. billing-up cultivation was done on the third week of November. Harvesting was done on the first week of January. The project netted an income of P 349.00.
