The farm practice on mongo production was purposely ducted to have an experience in managing an income generating project and to explore the hidden potentials in working on the farm. It was also the aim of the study, to help local farmers gain an additional income through use of short season crops with applied modern techniques in farming. The project was undertaken in Banaba Lejos, Indang, Cavite from August 1 to November 21, 1982. In the project, yellow or native variety of mongo was used. The re-t of the project showed that a 14.58 kilos (six gantas) mongo seeds planted in a half (6) hectare land produced .55 kilos (85 gantas) of marketable seeds. On the economic point of view of raising mongo was found out that even native variety when fertilized h complete fertilizer produced a high yield.
