Abstract: The farm practice project was conducted at the DSAC piggery project from December 7, 1990 to March 15, 1991. This project aimed to determine the cost of producing a kilogram live weight of market hogs. Five heads of hogs were raised. A total of 1,117.5 kg of commercial feeds was consumed the animals for the whole duration of the project. The hogs realized an average feed efficiency of 4.43 and a total gain in weight of 47.7 kg. A total production cost of P 112,575.37, a gross income of P 13,446.75 and a net income of P 920.88 were determined at the end of the study, realizing a return on investment of 7.35 percent.
