Abstract: A hog fattening project was conducted in Lumampong, Indang, Cavite from August to December 1991 to harness the student's business ability; to gain managerial/supervisory experience in integrating agribusiness concepts and to evaluate the different production parameters in relation to the profitability of the enterprise. A loan was obtained from the Don Severino Agricultural College - Agricultural Education Outreach Project (DSAC- AEOP) to finance the operation of the project. Aside from the relatively better feed conversion efficiency and lower average cumulative feed consumption, the actual average final body weight of the hogs was higher than the projection. A net income of p 915.57 per hog was realized at the d of the feeding period.
