Abstract: A farm practice was conducted at Banson Poultry Farm, Bgy. Aguado, Trece Martires City with the aim of providing a first- hand experience and further Development of management skills in operating a broiler project. The farm practice started on November 17, 1997 and was terminated on December 30, 1997. Four thousand broiler chicks were utilized in the project. The birds were fed with chick booster mash on the first nine days of age and broiler starter mash from the tenth day up to disposal. Changing of feeds was done gradually. A medication program was followed and clean drinking water was always made available. At the time of disposal, the birds attained an average body weight of 1.82 kg and consumed an average of 3.64 kg of feeds. The feed conversion efficiency was 2.03 kg and mortality was 3.35 percent. The project attained a net income of P 57,152.56 with a return in investment of 21.44 percent.
