Abstract: A farm practice was conducted at Bannon Poultry Farm in Trece Martires City, Cavite on November 17 to December 29, 1997 to help the student gain experience and develop his managerial skills in broiler production. Four thousand broiler chicks were utilized in the project. The birds were fed with chick booster mash on the first two weeks and broiler starter mash on the next three weeks up to the time of disposal. A medication program was followed and clean drinking water was always made available. At the end of the project, the birds attained an average body weight of 1.7 kg and consumed an average of 3.62 kg of feeds. The feed conversion efficiency was 2.09 kg and mortality was 3.15 percent. The project attained a gross income of P 308,292.92 and total expenses of P 268,926.71 giving a net income of P 39,366.21 with a return on Investment of 14.6 percent.
