Abstract: BINABAN, NELSON ILAO, Bachelor of Science in Agriculture, Cavite State University, Indang, Cavite, April 1998. "Production of Sweet Pepper Under Shaded Condition." Dr. Reynaldo C. Ersando. A farm practice project entitled "Production of Sweet Pepper Under Shaded Condition" was conducted at Balayan, Batangas from December 1997 to March 1998. The project aimed to: a) provide the students a hand on skill training on the actual production f sweet pepper using black shade net; and b) develop the students entrepreneurial skills through actual management of an income-generating sweet pepper production project. The project was established in a 36 sq. m. area. All the appropriate cultural management practices including shading of sweet pepper plants were employed. The adapted technology resulted the production of 92.40 kilograms marketable fruits and about 16.18 kg non-marketable fruits. The gross sales amounted to P 9,156.00. A total expense incurred was P 6,530.20 living a net income of P 2,685.80. The project gave a 40.21% return on investment which earns that the project on sweet pepper using shade is considered a favorable and viable production project.
