A farm practice was conducted in poultry of Mr. Enrique Del Mundo in Castanos Lejos, General Emilio Aguinaldo Cavite from December 5, 1 997 to .January 9, 1998. It was conducted experience broiler production. Two thousand broiler chicks were utilized in the project. They were fed with Chic Booster Broiler- Grower Mash, Broiler Finisher Crumbles and Broiler Finisher Pellet. Water was made available at all times.
Changing of feeds was done gradually for three days with 75:25. 50:50 and 25:75 ratio for the Chick Booster Mash and Broiler Grower Mash. For Broiler Finisher Crumbles and Broiler Finisher Pellets, it was done with I 1 ratio. A medication and vaccination guideline was followed during-the duration of the project. At the 5th week, the bird attained 1.7 kg final body weight and was disposed immediately. It was 0.1 kg higher than the 1.6 kg standard body weight of the integrator. The birds consumed 2.43 kg of teed. Feed conversion of was 1.43 kg and had a mortality of 3 percent. The project Tent P 5,661.03 and earned 61.512.97 with return investment of 75.31 percent.
