The study was conducted to determine the relationship of body types to the dance
performance of Performing Arts Group of Cavite 1. Determine the demographic characteristics
of the Performing Arts Group of Cavite State University in terms of as age, sex, dance type and
body type 2. What is the dance performance of Performing Alts Group (PAG) of Cavite State
University Main-Campus? 3. What is the relationship of body type in dance Performance of
Performing Arts Group in Cavite State University Main-Campus? And 4. Is there any significant
relationship between body types and dance performance when group according to demographic
characteristics of performing arts group (PAG) in Cavite State University Main Campus?
Method used in this study is a descriptive research design; a total of 15 respondents not
all were able to take the survey due to some reasons Survey questionnaire made the
researchers was used in the collection of the data; date was analyzed using Frequency and
Percentage, Weighted mean and Correlation and Man Whitney Test of Association.
The results showed that age, sex, dance type and body types of Performing Arts Groups
of Cavite State University having no significant relationship to their dance performance.
