Abstract: The study, "Response of Sweet Pepper to Different Concentrations of Sucrose", was conducted at the experimental field of the Don Severino Agricultural College, Indang, Cavite from October, 1979 to February, 1980. It aimed to determine the response of sweet pepper to different concentrations of sucrose and to know which of the concentrations (40%, 30%, 20%, and 10%) would give the best result. Highly significant results were obtained from the average height of plants, average weight of marketable fruits per treatment, and average number of marketable fruits per treatment, while no significant difference was noted in the average weight and number of non-marketable fruits per treatment and percentage of survival of the plants. Treatment 4 (40%) gave the best result as shown by the high percentage of survival as well as the number and weight of marketable fruits.
