Abstract: DEPEDRO, CRISSEL ANN S. and GUACENA, IVY MAE M., Agri-Finder: Locator of Agricultural Affiliates of Cavite State University in Indang Cavite Using Shortest Path Algorithm. Undergraduate Thesis. Bachelor of Science in Computer Science. Cavite State University, Indang, Cavite. April 2016. Adviser: Ms. Julie C. Lontoc. The study was conducted from June 2014 to March 2016 at Cavite State University, Indang, Cavite to develop a software for mapping the agricultural partners of Cavite State University using shortest path algorithm in geographical information system. Specially, the study aimed to: l. identify the existing problems through research and interview; 2. analyze the identified problems through fishbone diagram; 3. design the system through the use of use case diagram; 4. develop a software that will track down the agricultural affiliation of the university in the municipality using C# as programming language and MySQL as DBMS; and 5. test the performance and ability of the system using unit testing and integration testing. The software was enabled to show the graphical image of Indang, Cavite and to show the shortest path and information about the affiliate. Software Development Model was used in the development of the software. It consists of the following phases: analyze/planning, breakdown priority project, design module, code test, and debug, integration of sub procedure and testing, integration existing system, and test/implementation. The following specifications of computer were used in developing the software: laptop with 1.7GHz and four logical processors with 4096MB memory running in Windows 7 Ultimate 32bit Operating System and 5() ()GB of hard disk space. Microsoft Visual Studio 2010 for the graphical user interface (GUI), C# as their programming language and SQLite for Database, Adobe Photoshop CS5 for the design and logos. The study also used Google Maps and Google Map Downloader 6.69 for creating the geographical map of Indang, Cavite. The software was evaluated by 100 participants based on the following criteria: functionality, reliability, usability, efficiency, maintainability, and portability. As a result, with the mapping and finding the shortest path, the software was able to accomplish the objectives targeted by the developers.
