Cavite, March 2002 entitled: "Utilization of Plastic Cups to Produce Adhesive Sticks" Advisers: Prof. Tadeo Mojica, Prof. Dulce L. Ramos
This study was conducted in Tambo M. Kulit, Indang, Cavite from August 2001
to November 2001 in order to determine the possibility of producing adhesive sticks from plastic cups. It was aimed also at determining the effectiveness of the adhesive sticks.
This study was arranged in Randomized Complete Block Design with five treatments and three replications. The treatments were: To — commercial adhesive stick; Tl — 100 grams cut plastic cups and 1 liter kerosene; T2— 125 grams cut plastic cups and I liter kerosene; T3 — 150 grams cut plastic cups and 1 liter kerosene; T4 — 200 grams cut plastic cups and 1 liter kerosene.
It was observed and proven that commercial adhesive sticks are still the best
adhesive. It was also observed that treatments I, 2, 3, and 4 can be used to put together
materials which are made of wood, plastics, paper, ceramics, and rubber.
