Abstract: CABRERA, KATELYN MAE R. and PIDA, RICAH JOYCE L. Satisfaction of the Residents of Selected Barangays on the Extension Services of Cavite State University Indang Cavite. Undergraduate Thesis. Bachelor of Science in Development Management in Cavite State University, Indang, Cavite. June 2018. Adviser: Ms. Sheryl S. Ersando. The study was conducted from February 2018 to April 2018 in nine selected barangays of Indang Cavite. The study was conducted to: 1) describe the socio-demographic profile of the residents in selected barangays of Indang, Cavite; 2) determine the extension services of Cavite State University received by the participants; 3) determine the level of satisfaction of the participants towards the extension services provided by CvSU in Indang, Cavite; 4) determine the level of expectations of the residents from the extension services of CvSU; 5) determine the significant relationship between the level of satisfaction and the level of expectation; and 6) determine the needs of the residents from extension services of CvSU. The study had a total of 358 participants from the nine selected barangays of Municipality of Indang, Cavite. Frequency count, percentage, mean, standard deviation and chi-square were used to analyze the data. Descriptive research design was used in this study. The participants had a mean age of 51, and there were the same number of female and male in the residents and were mostly married. They were mostly High School graduates and had household monthly income of less than P 5,000. Majority of them had 3 to 5 household members in the household and stayed for about 26 years and above. The findings revealed that the 69 participants had received "Tree Planting Projects" of Cavite State University. It was also revealed that the level of satisfaction of the residents were "extremely satisfied" in terms of: knowledge, skills and attitude towards the extension worker of CvSU; planning, strategies and implementation of the extension services of CvSU; the facilities and equipment that were used in the extension services of CvSU; the monitoring and evaluation on the extension worker of CvSU. it was concluded that most of the resident's expectation on the extension services of CvSU was "very high" and the level of satisfaction and the level of expectation are significantly related to participants' level of satisfaction and expectation. It was also concluded that the mostly needed extension services in selected barangays in Indang, Cavite was "Livelihood Programs".
