Philippines is one the country that is affected by the climate related hazard such as
floods, heat stress and droughts. Climate change threaten crops productivity that put food
security at risk. All forms of climate variability has a negative impact on farming. Increasing
temperature affect the crop production and health of the community. The study was conducted
at Indang Cavite as Indang is one of the agricultural places in Cavite. The variable the
Agrometare local temperature, humidity, vapor pressure and rainfall of Indang provided by
Agromet station of Cavite State University. This study was done to create a model that will
determine the impacts of some climate change indicators to the local temperature of Indang,
Cavite. By understanding the model’s temperature of Indang using climate indicators the
researcher will apply ARDL model as it is fitting or modeling a dependent variable and pre-
processing. This paper made use of monthly data from January 2015 to December 2018. The
results of the Bound test revealed that there exists a long-run relation between the selected
climate variables. Temperature, vapor pressure and humidity had significant positive effects,
while rainfall impacted negatively. It affects agriculture and food security with sudden changes in
rain coupled with temperature. With the sudden change in climate, it can lead to the outbreak of
feast and flood. It has a negative effect on their crops. To enhance the sustainability of crops the
fanners must change the agricultural practice. It can enhance the production of the crops and
increase the food availability and access.
