Abstract: BALITA, REYNALDO., DEL ROSARIO, KELLY JEAN L., DURAY, VER FRANCIS G., ERSANDO, JOSHUA JAMES D., SABBAN, HUMBREY A. IMPACT OF MENSTRUATION ON SPORTS PERFORMANCE OF WOMEN VARSITY ATHLETES OF CAVITE STATE UNIVERSITY- MAIN CAMPUS. Undergraduate thesis. Bachelor in Sports and Recreational Management. Cavite State University, Indang, Cavite. 2020. Adviser Prof. Kristine Marie T. Ronario This research design was conducted to assess the impact of menstruation on the sports performance of women varsity athletes of Cavite State University - Main Campus. The demographic profile of the respondents according to age, BMI, and year level was used in analyzing the impact of menstruation. The findings revealed that 9 of the 37 respondents were aged twenty years old, 14 were twenty-one years old, and 14 were twenty-two years old. The respondents were 78% normal and 22% overweight. The respondents were divided equally into four- year levels. In women's varsity athletes' menstruation, statements 15 and 16 had a very high impact on sports performance. In contrast, statements 11 to 13 and 17 to 19 had a high impact, statements 2,4,9,10 had moderate, and statements 1,3,5 to 8,14, and 20-25 had a low impact. Also, the study found out that there's no significant difference among the impact of menstruation to sports performance of women varsity athletes when grouped according to their demographic characteristics. However, there's a significant difference among the impact of sports performance of women varsity athletes when grouped in their BMI and Playing years. The study identified that the women varsity athletes of Cavite State University Main Campus based on the demographic profile, significantly impact their performance except the age of 20. Same as when they are grouped in their respective BMI and Playing years. Also, there's a significant impact on their sports performance when they have menstruation. Coaches and Physical Educators may improve their training techniques and coaching style when their athletes experience the menstruation cycle; for the women athletes, they will know the impact of menstruation on their performance; and lastly, for the future researchers, this study can use as the basis for similar studies in future.

This research design was conducted to assess the impact of menstruation on the sports
performance of women varsity athletes of Cavite State University - Main Campus. The

The study identified that the women varsity athletes of Cavite State University Main
Campus based on the demographic profile, significantly impact their performance except the
age of 20. Same as when they are grouped in their respective BMI and Playing years. Also,
there's a significant impact on their sports performance when they have menstruation. Coaches
