Abstract: The farm practice was conducted at lndang, Cavite from December 21, 1991 to February 5, 1992. The housing and all inputs were provided by the student. A total of 200 chicks were raised and housed in a floor area of 120 square meters walled-up with empty feed sacks. The broiler consumed a total of 700 kilograms of feeds with a feed conversion efficiency of 2.33. The birds obtained a total dressed weight of 254.8 kg or an average of 1.3 kg. The birds were marketed directly to the consumers on dressed weight basis at P60.00/kg, amounting to P15,358.00. The total expenditure was deducted from the sale of broilers and generated a net income of P3,152.12 and realized a return on investment of 26%.
