Abstract: This farm practice was conducted at the Dilig Poultry Farm in Buna Cerca, Indang, Cavite from November 3, 1993 to December 22, 1993 using 600 birds. This project aimed to provide the student with managerial and entrepreneurial skills in raising broilers. The birds consumed a total of 2,500 kg of feeds or an average of 4.23 kg and attained a total final body weight of 1004.70 kg or an average of 1.70 kg. Feed efficiency was 2.5. The percentage mortality of the birds was quite well at 1.5% compared to 4% of acceptable limit. The birds were sold at P943.00/kg liveweight which amounted to P43,202.10. A net income of P10,682.93 was realized with a return on investment of 32.58% Results obtained from the project showed that broiler raising is a good source of income for the family, as long as proper management practice is applied.
