Undergraduate Thesis, Bachelor of Science in Social Work, Cavite State University, Indang, Cavite. June 2018. Adviser: Ms. Merlie C. Nahilat, RS W, MSSW The study entitled "Social Preparedness of the Relocatees on the Socialized Housing Program as Implemented by NHA in Golden Horizon, Hugo Perez, Trece, Martires, Cavite" was conducted from December 2017 to February 2018. This aimed to determine the following: (1). demographic profile of the relocatees in terms of sex and number of years living in the area; (2).determine the social preparation of the relocatees before and after the relocation; and (3).effectiveness of the socialized housing program to its relocatees. The researchers used descriptive-evaluative design and purposive sampling, technique to determine the level of effectiveness of the program. Through the use of S1ovin's Formula with a seven percent desired of margin error, the researchers have come up to 195 respondents. To determine the level of effectiveness on the preparation of this program, the data gathered were quantified through statistics. Before the actual conduct of the data gathering, the researchers made a pre-reliability testing for 15 settlers in Southville 2 Phase 3- Brgy. Aguado, Trece Martires, Cavite and its result was good. Overall, after the careful analysis of the data gathered from the 195 relocatees in 11 Golden Horizon, results showed that most of the awardees in Golden Horizon are women and living in the area for three years. Also results showed that the relocatees on the Socialized Housing Program in Golden Horizon were socially prepared before and after the relocation. Also this relocation program in Golden Horizon, Hugo Perez, Trece Martires, Cavite was rated as very effective.
