Abstract: GUBATON, JACQUELYN M., and TAGLINAO, RICA MAE U. Human Resource Outsourcing and Organizational Performance in Selected Electronics Companies in Cavite. Undergraduate Thesis. Bachelor of Science in Business Management major in Human Resource Development Management. Cavite State University, Indang, Cavite. June 2018. Adviser: Dr. Marlon A. Mojica. This study was conducted to: (a) determine the business profile of each company in terms of years of operation in the country, nature of operation, nationality of owner/ incorporator, major product/s of the company, initial capital/investment, number of employees outsourced and non-outsourced, number of clients, services outsourced, amount allocated for outsourcing, turn-over rate, amount allocated in training newly-hired employees, and salary and benefits of the employees outsourced; (b) determine the extent of organization performance in terms of financial performance and non-financial performance; (c) determine the reasons of the electronics companies in engaging in human resource outsourcing; and (d) determine the extent of the problems encountered in terms of engaging in human resource outsourcing. The researchers used the descriptive method for this study and considered 10 companies as a sample size through purposive sampling. The participants in this study were the staff of management department of the different electronics companies. The researchers gathered the data using survey questionnaire. Frequency and mean were used as a statistical tool to fully understand the result of the survey. Through this study, selected electronics companies which participated in the study were identified which had 48 percent of the employees outsourced and had been availing the human resource outsourcing services for 4 to 18 years. The most common industry %%as in the field of manufacturing comprising 70% of the population of this study. It was also revealed that outsourced employees have a lack commitment as seen on the results of the study. It was also revealed that the reasons why companies engaging in human resource outsourcing is to helps the company to save money/ reduce operating costs. Also revealed that the participants return on assets (ROA, %) is well above the industry average and the value added per employee on the company is high based on the perspective of human resource staff. It was found out that the companies have a long-term partner relationship to their supplier and they retain existing clients and manage to attract new ones.
