Undergraduate Thesis. Bachelor of Science in Accountancy. Cavite State University, Indang, Cavite. August 2022. Adviser: Dr. Dolores L. Aguilar. Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) are businesses that constitute the growth of the economy by generating income often with the means of credit. Credit creation notwithstanding the risk attached to it is an income generating practice for SMEs. Credit management along with a healthy business performance play a vital role in mitigating and eliminating the risk for every credit transaction to attain financial profit. The general objective of the study was to determine the relationship between credit management practices and business performance of small and medium-sized enterprises in the City of Dasmarinas, Cavite. Descriptive research design was used with a target population of 906 in the locality of Dasmarinas, Cavite. A sample size of 100 was selected using purposive random sampling technique. The self-made questionnaire was formulated with closed-ended questions as well as 5-point Likert-scale based on the objectives of the research study. The structured questionnaire was distributed in the locality of Dasmarinas, Cavite answered and administered by business managers and owners as the participant of the study. The data gathered were analyzed and interpreted in the form of tabulations, frequency, percentage, median for ungrouped data as well as Somers' delta. The findings of the study depict that credit management practices have a significant relationship to the business performance of small and medium-sized enterprises in the City of Dasmarinas, Cavite. As the credit management has been practiced, it is related with the increase on the level of business performance of SMEs in Dasmarinas City, Cavite.
