Abstract: The project, "Application of the Right Amount of Fertilizer on Mongo Production", was conducted in Cabuco,, Trece Martires City from August, 1985 to November, 1985. This aimed to encourage the farmers to use the right amount of fertilizer and at the same time to increase farmers income. A 5,000 square meter land for mongo was fertilized by basal application. Two hundred kg. of fertilizer were applied in this project using 100 kg. complete (14-14-14) and 100 kg. Urea. Planting of mongo was done by broadcas-ting the seeds into the thoroughly prepared field and then covering the seeds thinly with 3-4 cm. of fine soil with the use of a harrow. Germination of mongo took place three days after planting. Mongo was harvested November 4 and November 10, 1985. Marketing of mongo followed three weeks after harvesting.
