Abstract: ABSTRACT The study, "Adaptability Test of Different Varieties of Mulberry" was conducted from October 1979 to January 1980 at the experimental field of the Don Severino Agricultural College, Indang, Cavite to determine the best adapted variety of mulberry under DSAC conditions. Cuttings of four varieties of mulberry (Kokuso, Native, India and Roso) were taken from UPCA, College, Laguna. One variety (Alfonso) was taken from Alfonso, Cavite and one variety (Batac) was taken. from DSAC, Indang, Cavite. The cuttings were planted at a randomized complete block design with four replications in a 100 square meter field. Batac variety gave the largest yield in terms of leaf weight and leaf counts followed by Indian variety. The same variety (Batac) produced the highest weekly growth and the earliest to emerge shoots. Batac variety of mulberry plants was the most adapted under DSAC Conditions as revealed in the study
