Abstract: AGUSTIN, ERLJOHN M., and DELA PEÑA, MARLO B., HAPAG: A Bromatology and Health Science Development Multiplex for Malnutrition Care. Undergraduate Thesis. Bachelor of Science in Architecture. Cavite State University, Indang, Cavite. January 2022. Adviser: Ar. Kathleen N. Bescaser. This study was conducted from August 2021 to May 2022 in Tanay, Rizal Province for the proposal of a mixed-use complex focused on providing essentials related to malnutrition. The general objective of the study was to design a complex where people could go whenever they needed medical care, involve in a space that promotes agriculture and healthy lifestyle, and a provision for development in science related to food in which it will serve as a source of nutrition for everyone. The vision of this proposal was to be a foundation for discoveries in food technology innovations that will be capable of producing nutritional products where it will be manufactured and distributed to every Filipinos, especially those who are impoverished and in need of healthcare, these could be pregnant mothers, their newborns, or those who struggles to develop and be healthy because of malnutrition. Enveloping this vision is the longing for an independent country in terms of healthcare, with its community aiming and making healthy lifestyle a necessity in which everyone should be concerned about. The main facilities covered in this study were: a Food Technology Research Development Facility, Maternity & Children's Hospital and Local Food Crop Plantation following the vision of the Republic Act No. 11148 also known as "Kalusugan at Nutrisyon ng Mag-Nanay Act" and Republic Act No. 2067 also known as "Science Act of 1958". The variables that were considered in this project were: laws and ordinances, character, orientation, circulation and zoning, accessibility, light and ventilation, landscaping, spatiality, atmosphere, and technology. The elements were then evaluated and investigated, and the project's proponents came up with conclusion about the design strategies used.
