The farm sold its honey at P115.00 per bottle. The farm gave 5% discounts in bulk sales to all regular buyers. The farm marketed live honey bees in local and international market at p 2,500.00 per starter set. The farm also accepted and marketed made to order bee keeping equipment. The farm promoted their products through brochures and seminars provided to interested beekeepers. In 1996 the capital of the farm amounted to P1,000,000. This was used for the purchase of raw materials, stocks, equipment and other expenses of the farm. Additional capital came from the income generated through the sales of honey. In its operation, the farm encountered the following problems: permanency of hired laborers, low production, and presence of competitors. To solve these problems, execution of labor contact specifying the duties and responsibilities of laborers and terms of service is recommended. The farm should improve its advertising strategy by providing more imformation and prints ads on the quality of the farm products. To meet the demand of the consumers, expansion of the operation should also be undertaken.
