Major Professor: Dr. Willie C, Depositario, This study attempted to determine the effects that were brought about by Operation Land Transfer (OLT) on tenant beneficiaries in Cavite, The findings showed that the respondents had an average age of 47, and with a mean number of three years in school, of them were married with an average of five dependents, Moreover, about 33 percent of the respondents indicated to have household members with no earning capability while 67 percent had one to four gainful members, More. than one-half of the respondents had little farming experience, The average area cultivated by the respondents was two hectares, Farm income, total household income, farm expenses and total expenditures were found to have significantly increased after OLT. Notably, material Possessions acquired by the beneficiaries increased greatly after they have become amortizing owners. Likewise, rural banks, relatives and stores were preferred by the respondents as sources of loans for farm and household needs, Moreover, aspirations of the beneficiaries went higher after OLT implementation such that majority of the respondents had positive views on the various statements concerning values and beliefs, All respondents showed a positive attitude towards their were members in an organization, Most of the respondents had problems related to farming although majority of them were not involved in any conflict, Furthermore, the beneficiaries farm income was influenced by the number of earning members of the household, experience in farming and size of cultivation; while total household income was affected by size of cultivation alone, Meanwhile, number of dependents and size of cultivation affected total expenditures. The beneficiaries membership in an organization was not affected by any of their demographic characteristics.
