Abstract: CARIÑO, JOYCE APRIL S. and CREENCIA, ARTHIENIAN LATRELL S. Monitoring and Information Management System for Central Computer Laboratory Section of CvSU University Computer Center Using QR Code. Capstone Project. Bachelor of Science in Information Technology. Cavite State University, Indang, Cavite. June 2022. Adviser: Mr. Ace Amiel E. Malicsi. The CEIT CCL is composed of 15 laboratory rooms that have a maximum of 41 computers. Currently, their client is still using the traditional way of maintaining each laboratory room. The laboratory assistants still use blackboards and pen and paper in recording which computer has a problem. After conducting maintenance, the client did not have any report forms to follow and still do an unorganized way of reporting. As a result, the maintenance could not be conducted every day, and the computers are not regularly checked every time. The authors of this study developed a Monitoring and Information Management System using QR Code that helps them every time the client conducts maintenance. This system can also generate, create, and organize reports. The developmental and descriptive methods of research were adopted in the study, both in developmental and evaluation of the system. The evaluation form included the following criteria, based on ISO 25010 standards: functional suitability, performance efficiency, compatibility, usability, reliability, security, maintainability, and portability. The overall evaluation of the system was "Excellent" based on the combined inputs of the respondents composed of laboratory assistants and ICT experts. After the analysis and evaluation of the system, it was recommended to expand its users which includes the professors, students, and other departments since the current system will be limited to only for the CEIT UCC Laboratory Assistants. Another enhancement that can be made is adding an archive feature every time the client wants to download the generated pdf file.
