Abstract: NEPOMUCENO, LAILA S. Marketing Strategies of Future Trade International, Inc. Undergraduate Case Study, Bachelor of Science in Business Management. Cavite State University, Indang, Cavite. June 2019. Adviser Ms. Lina C. Abogadie The study was conducted at Future Trade International, Inc. at 8014 Km 18, West Service Road, Brgy. Marcelo Green Village, Sucat, Paranaque City from February 26, 2018 to April 19, 2018. The study aimed to analyze the marketing strategies of Future Trade International, Inc. Specifically, it aimed to: (a) describe the products offered by the company; (b) describe the organization and management of the company; (c) determine and analyze the marketing strategies adapted by the company using SWOT analysis; and (d) identify the problems encountered in marketing their products and recommend feasible solutions. Various sources of data and information were used in this study. Information on the history, organization and management, products of the company and other relevant information were collected from the files and records of the company. Secondary data were gathered through research from the internet and from the Cavite State University Main Library. Other data and information were obtained through interviews with the administrator and other employees of the company and through observations of the activities of the company and hands-on involvement by the researcher. The company has leading positions in the imported ready-to-drink, wine and beer markets and distributes a represents a range of leading spirits brands. The management team of the company has over 40 years combined work experience in sales, distribution and marketing Of wines and spirits from multinational companies. Marketing strategies of the company include participation in summer events of hotels free wine trainings and tasting new products. The company is using social media and gives discounts depending on the agreement of sales agent and customers. The company encountered some complaints from the owners regarding the defects or damage of the products. Near expiration of the products is also one of their problems. The company logistics encountered difficulties for bulk shipping, Lastly, there were instances wherein there was no internet connection which caused delays in deliveries. Future Trade International, Inc. plans to add more promotional activities to increase sales of their products. It also aims to maintain an effective and efficient national distribution in both on- premise and off-premise channels to get more loyal customers.
