This study was conducted to assess the women’s utilization of health care services available in health center among selected Barangay in Indang, Cavite. Specifically, it aimed to: determine the demographic profile of the respondents of the residence from Barangay Health Center; determine the different health care services commonly utilized by women of the reproductive age among the residents of Indang; determine the level of awareness of women on health care services provided by the Barangay Health Center determine the degree of utilization of women on health care services provided in Barangay Health center; determine the factors that greatly affect women of reproductive age in their utilization of health care services in selected Barangay; determine if there are significant difference between the level of awareness on health care services offered by Barangay Health Center and degree of utilization of health care services among women of reproductive age; determine if there is significant relationship between the demographic profile and level of awareness and degree of utilization; determine if there is significant relationship between the frequency of visits of women to Barangay Health Center and reasons affecting the degree of utilization; determine if there is relationship between the enumerated factors and the degree of utilization of different services such as distance, attitude of health workers, equipment and supply, monthly income, source of income and schedule of services. This study was conducted in four Barangays of Indang namely: Bancod, Daine I, Kaytapos and Lumampong Halayhay. The researchers had a total of 100 respondents with 25 respondents coming from each Barangay. The highest percentage of respondents was in the age group of 24 to 29 which constituted 42% of the total number of the respondents. Questionnaires were provided to each women respondent in selected Barangay for them to fill up and answer. It was divided into five sections. The first part is the demographic profile age, civil status, educational attainment, income, source of income, number if children and distance from Barangay Health Center. The second part centered on the level of awareness in different programs implemented by the DOH in Barangay Health Center. The third part answered the question about the utilization of different programs implemented by the DOH in Barangay Health Center, common services utilized and the attitude and behavior of health personnel of Barangay Health Center. The fourth part centered on the degree of utilization of different programs implemented by the DOH in Barangay Health Center. Lastly, the fifth part reflects the factors affecting the utilization of different health care services. Results revealed that the respondents are moderately aware of the different programs implemented by the DOH in Barangay Health Center. It can be therefore concluded that women of reproductive age in selected Barangay of Indang are moderately aware of the different program implemented by the DOH in Barangay Health Center. Based on the result of the study, it was found out that 100 respondents from four barangays, sometimes utilized the different programs implemented by the DOH in Barangay Health Center. The study also revealed highly significant relationship between level of awareness and degree of utilization, hence the awareness of women in different health care services affected their utilization.
