Abstract: PULIDO, KATHERINE FAYE J. and VOSOTROS, JULIE MARIE E. Development of an E- Learning System for Food and Beverage Control System. Undergraduate Thesis. Bachelor of Science in Information Technology. Cavite State University, Indang, Cavite. April, 2011. Adviser: Ms. Vanessa G. Coronado. The study was conducted to provide an online learning system entitled, Development of an E-Learning System for Food and Beverage Control System, which presents discussions on the subject in an interactive approach. The system is capable of adding, editing, deleting, updating and store information which automatically reflected on the system. It provides lectures in different format such as animated lectures, text document with images, PowerPoint presentations and related videos. Unified Process was used as a development methodology which has four phases, the Inception, Elaboration, Construction and Transition Phase. In developing the system PHP (Hypertext Processor) was used since it is a web based language for scripting purposes, Adobe Dreaweaver and Adobe Photoshop were also used for the development of web application and system features. The system was evaluated by the beneficiaries, computer experts and employees of the College of Education based on the given criteria: user-interaction, reliability, consistency, accuracy, information in the program and technical aspects of the software and materials. The system passed all the given criteria during the evaluation and met the targeted features and functionality as well as the course requirements and its objectives.
