Abstract: ARIANNE O. DULNUAN and SHEEN M. ROQUE. Development of E- Learning System for Introduction to Behavioral Science Course. Undergraduate Thesis. Bachelor of Science in Information Technology. Cavite State University, Indang, Cavite. May 2011. Adviser: Ms. Vanessa G. Coronado. The study was conducted to develop an E-Learning System for Introduction to Behavioral Science Course which is able to provide a new approach of education and to improve the teaching process directly involving the use of computers in the presentation of the lessons. The study aimed to enhance the conventional teaching methodology of the subject. It provides each student with highly individualized instruction that map very closely onto learning strategies and the thinking process of the student. The Extreme Programming (XP) was used as paradigm in the development of the system which includes Exploration Phase, Planning Phase, Iterations to release Phase, Productionizing Phase, Maintenance Phase and Death Phase. The e-Learning system was developed under XAMPP, wherein Apache will be used as the server, PHP as the scripting language and MySQL for the database. Macromedia Dreamweaver used for interface design and prototyping, Google Chrome as the default browser, Microsoft Visio 2003 for designing the diagram, Adobe Photoshop 7 for editing or creating images, Macromedia Flash 8 for the creating animation and interface and Microsoft Office Word 2007 for the documentation. The software was evaluated and satisfied all the objectives of the study.
