This research entitled "Proposed Design and Analysis of Four-Storey Multipurpose Concrete Building for College of Sports, Physical Education and
Recreation in Cavite State University “Indang Cavite" was conducted to provide possible solution to the current problem of lacking in classrooms and other facilities of the chosen college. The average number of individuals from the last five academic years of the college was considered in making an appropriate plan. The National Building Code was followed in making the architectural plans and was done with the help of Computer Aided Design (AutoCad).
Aside from the making plans, this study has two more major parts. The second was the structural analysis. Comprehensive analysis of the structure was done with the aid of Structural Aided Analysis and Design (Staad Pro Connect Edition). The last was the design of the structural members. The design of the structural members was based on the provisions of National Structural Code of the Philippines 2015 and AC1318-14.
It also included the 3D view of the proposed building. Sketch Up was used in making the exterior design.
