GUYAGON, KIER MATTHEW G. and SAYSON, EUGENE R. Concrete with Steel: Design and Proposed Five Storey Building for Civil Engineering students in Cavite State University-Main Campus Indang, Cavite. Undergraduate Design Project. Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering. Cavite State University, Indang, Cavite. April 2023. Adviser: Engr. Larry E. Rocela.
A crucial component of good learning was the classroom. Any educational system was built around it. Implementation and evaluation, which both took place primarily in the classroom, were necessary for any curriculum planning to be completed. A significant issue in many schools was overcrowding. Lack of adequate infrastructure, particularly in the classrooms, was one of the factors contributing to
overcrowding in schools.
The researchers Proposed a five-story concrete with steel structure at the main campus of Cavite State University in Indang Cavite to serve as a test facility and storage space for goods and classrooms for students. A building that serve as a home
for students, a location for study and development, and a future professional workforce.
The structure was designed as per the codes and specifications of the National Structural Code of the Philippines (NSCP 2015). The total floor area of the building was 3301.3 sqm . The cost per square meter of the whole project is P 24,126.02, the design was proven safe.
The researchers recommended that the design including the electrical and plumbing plans of the whole site development plan must be included in the study for more detailed research and utilizing the same ASEP plan to create a green building system. The design project conducted could be used by other researchers as reference regarding the construction of a high-rise building
