Abstract: VERGEL E. TAMPES AND DARREL LEE E TAMPSE. Development of a Four Speed Manual Transmission System Instructional Model. Undergraduate Design Project. Bachelor of Industrial Technology, major in Automotive Technology. Cavite State University, Indang, Cavite, December 2017. Adviser: Prof John Bryan G. Nanos Improvement of the project design in every institution is a never-ending process in order to cope with the needs. In college and universities, said that having an instructional model is helpful for understanding a lesson. To contribute to the process, a four-speed manual transmission system instructional model was made. The design of improved project is more suitable for hands-on experiences and it also provides a different kind of activities to gain more knowledge about manual transmission system. The study is about manual transmission, specifically, Toyota four speed manual transmission was used. It is a speed power changing device located between the engine and the driving wheels of a vehicle. The development of the project would be helpful in preparation of students for their TESDA assessment. The design project was rehabilitated and restored in the author's residence from November 2016 to May 2017. The study was focused in manual transmission only, this is limited the discussion of other parts and assembly of the project.
