The experiment "Response of Mushroom to Different Concentration of Urea Fertilizer" was conducted from January to February 1979 at Nahabang Kahoy, Indang, Cavite to find out which amount of Urea fertilizer concentration would give greatest yield and best growth on mushroom such as gal. of Urea fertilizer concentration of different amount 1 teaspoon/gal of water (Treatment 2), 2 teaspoons/ water (Treatment 3), 3 teaspoons/gal. of water (Treatment 4) were tested as concentrated rate for mushroom culture. Treatment 1 (control) had no fertilizer. Bedding fertilized with urea at 2 teaspoons/gal. of water, 1 teaspoon/gal. of water and 3 teaspoons/gal. of water rank the first, second, and third in mushroom product-ion respectively. The mushroom bed with no fertilizer produced the least. The result showed that mushrooms have different responses on the different amounts of fertilizer applied. The application of Urea fertilizer at 2 teaspoons/gal. of water was so far the best to be applied.
