Abstract: BARASIGAN, MONIQUE D. AND MENDOZA, MAYGEL EVANNY A. Development of Preview: A Network-based Presentation Tool. Undergraduate Thesis. Bachelor of Science in Computer Science. Cavite State University, Indang, Cavite. December 2018. Adviser: Ms. Julie Ann C. Lontoc. This study was conducted from January 2017 to December 2018 at Cavite State University — Main Campus. This study aimed to lessen the needs of the projectors and enhance delivery of instruction using innovative learning technology by connecting it in a local area network. Iterative development cycle was used as the methodology of the study. The following tools were used to develop the system:2GB of RAM, Pentium(R) Dual CPU T3400 @2.16GHz 2.17GHz and4GB of RAM AMD Athlon (tm) CPU X2 250 @3.00 GHz 3.00GHz. Microsoft Visual Basic 6, as the programming platform, Adobe Photoshop CS6 for design and Microsoft Word for documentation. The software evaluation was performed by 100 randomly chosen participants consisted of 20 faculty members and 80 students of Department of Information Technology. The criteria used are as follows: functionality, reliability, usability, efficiency, maintainability, portability and user-friendliness. As for the overall result of the software evaluation result, it got a total mean of 4.28 from the technical participants and 4.38 from the non-technical participants. Therefore, the researchers met all the expected output of the developed software.
