The study was conducted from August 2018 to May 2019 in the in the selected municipalities and cities od district VII & VIII of Cavite, to assess the level knowledge of the participants, specifically it aimed to: 1. identify the socio-demographic profile of the household heads, VAWC desk officer in the barangay, head of the peace and order in the barangay, head of the barangay police and SK chairperson and councilors 2. determine the level of knowledge of the household heads, VAWC desk officer in the barangay, head officer of the peace and order in the barangay, head of the barangay police and SK chairperson and councilors on the GAD concepts and policies 3. determine the level of knowledge of the household heads, VAWC desk officer in the barangay, head officer of the peace and order in the barangay, head of the barangay police, SK Chairperson and councilor on the different forms on Gender-Based Violence 4. determine the level of knowledge of the household heads, VAWC desk officer in the barangay, head officer of the peace and order in the barangay, head of the barangay police, SK Chairperson and councilor on the different penalties on Gender-Based Violence 5. determine the recommendation for the intervention approach to receive information about gender-based violence is acceptable to the household heads, VAWC desk officer in the barangay, head of the peace and order in the barangay, head of the barangay police and SK chairperson and 7. Determine the circumstances under which trainings/workshops maybe conducted. Descriptive research was used in the study, interview and with the use of survey questionnaire were done to gather pertinent data
