Cavite She University, Indang, Cavite. April 2007. Adviser: Prof Roderick M. Rupido. A field study was conducted to describe the services offered by the firm; determine the existing management policies and practices employed; and provide insights and reflections about the field study conducted. The data and information were gathered from the files and records of the firm, observations and personal interviews with the company personnel. Some important information were gathered from the website of the company and University library. Tripmart is starting to be known in the travel and tourism industry as a provider of the cheapest and most affordable fares and prices. It was established on November 15, 2001 and from then on the company continues to provide good quality service. Aside from international and local tour packages, cruises and hotel reservations, passport and visa assistance, the company aims to improve the standards of travel to provide its clients the best travel experience. The field study enabled the trainee to gain knowledge in the actual operations of Tripmart Travel Services. The author learned how to deal with the company personnel and clients and developed a sense of responsibility and discipline. The field study provides a great help to all student trainees to get exposed to a real situation. She was totally convinced that exposure to different activities of the company was found to be very helpful
