Abstract: Plastic products stayed unchanged in landfills, in forests, in oceans and along the side of the road for hundred of years, creating environmental issues throughout the world. Bagasse is sugar cane fiber pulp, left over after the juice has been extracted from the sugar cane stalk. By pressing the pulp at high pressure and temperature to a mold form makes bagasse biodegradable tablewares. On the marketing aspect, historical demand and supply figures was ascertained using questionnaire survey method. The historical supply and demand figures are used to forecast the projected demand at 24,754 pieces and supply at 6,393,612 pieces in 2012 for biodegradable tableware plastics. The location where the project shall be established has a total land area of 1,600 square meters at Lalaan, Silang. The manufacturing steps in the production of tablewares together with the machines, equipment, furniture and fixtures, and other fixed assets required in its production are discussed in the Technical aspect. Organization and management aspect discussed the form of organization that the firm will adopt, and that is corporation and will be registered under the name JD Wares Corporation with 10 original incorporators. This will give the funding needed for the project. The biodegradable tableware project is to be composed of 31 employees for its plantation. On financial aspect, initial capitalization is set at forty million pesos (Php 40,000,000) to be sourced from the stockholders. The payback period of the project is concluded to be earlier of the second year of operations. The total cash inflow during the five years of operation is Php 128,078,093 with a benefit cost ratio of 3.20. Socio - economic aspect justified that the project is not only financially viable but likewise socially desirable and economically acceptable because it will create employment, improve one's quality of life, can produce revenue, taxes and income, and will contribute to the development of the community where it will be located. The proponents, hence is capable of giving the fact that sugar cane bagasse and starch could be utilized as raw materials in producing biodegradable tableware plastics. It is strongly agreed by the Department of Science and Technology, Material Science Division where the proponents conducted their product formulation and processing. It would serve potential investors to establish this new type of business because it will not only help our environment but could uplift our economic status. The project is feasible and viable through the salient information and analyses made on each aspect. In financial conditions, the project is profitable and viable to support the production of biodegradable tableware plastics.
