The study was conducted to (1) identify the demographic profile of undergraduate students of Cavite State University in terms of: nationality, sex, year level, course, and source of educational support; (2) determine the level of awareness of undergraduate students on the academic policies and norms of conduct for students of Cavite State University; (3) determine the attitudes of undergraduate students towards the academic policies and norms of conduct for students of Cavite State University; (4) determine the difference between awareness of domestic and foreign students in terms of academic policies and norms of conduct for students of Cavite State University; and (5) determine the difference between the attitudes of domestic and foreign students towards the academic policies and norms of conduct for students of Cavite State University. The age of the participants ranged from 18 to 31 with a mean age of 21.23 years. Most of the participants were males, from ages 18 to 20, and from first year. A two-part semi-structured questionnaire was used to gather the needed data from the participants. The questionnaire was based on the academic policies and norms of conduct embodied in the Student Handbook to Students of Cavite State University. The study had a total of 160 participants composed of 80 foreign and 80 domestic students enrolled in the University during second semester, Academic Year 2016-2017. Statistical tools were applied for the analysis and interpretation of data. Mean, frequency, percentage were used to present the characteristics of undergraduate students, while the level of awareness as well as attitudes towards the academic policies and norms of conduct for students were determined using mean. Results revealed that both foreign and domestic students were extremely aware of the academic policies and norms of conduct for students of Cavite State University. Moreover, domestic students had favorable attitude while the foreign students had highly favorable attitude towards the academic policies and norms of conduct for students of Cavite State University. It was found out that there is no difference between the level of awareness and attitudes of the participants towards the academic policies and norms of conduct for students of Cavite State University.
