Abstract: ABARY, ALDANE KRISTOFFER L. and BROTONEL, ROSE ANN L. Evaluation of Existing Water Refilling Station Process in Indang, Cavite. Undergraduate Thesis. Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering. Cavite State University, Indang, Cavite. April 2013. Adviser: Engr. Willie C. Buclatin The study identified the evaluation of existing water refilling station process in Indang, Cavite. The individual attributes and work characteristics were tested with the frequency and severity of stress symptoms to identify the risk factors that contribute to the occurrence of musculoskeletal disorders and other related illness to pineapple harvesting. The subjects in the study are nine (9) registered water refilling station business in Indang, Cavite. Evaluation of Water Refilling Station process was considered in the study, which involves the percentage of wasted water and determination of pros and cons of the filtration process in terms of mineral obtained. Actual interview with the support of a guided questionnaire were performed in order to come up with the data necessary for the completion of this study. Appropriate quantitative tools were then used to analyze the gathered data. Data was analyzed using IE tools like flow process diagram and time study analysis, to analyze and assess the existing process of the selected water refilling stations in Indang, Cavite. Flow diagram was used to determine the flow of process in the selected water refilling stations. Several accounting principles, like Cost Benefit Analysis was also used to assess the monetary value of the wasted water. The researchers recommends to the owner of the water refilling stations that uses reverse osmosis process to assess and study the suggested redesign of pipe in order to reduce waste water.
