Abstract: ASTILLA, JAN NINO L. and BAWAG, DARREN P. Development of Online Management Information System for Amadeo National High School (Amadeo, Cavite). Undergraduate Thesis. Bachelor of Science in Information Technology. Cavite State University, Indang, Cavite. October 2013. Adviser: Mr. Marlon R. Perefia. The study entitled “Online Management Information System for Amadeo National High School (Amadeo, Cavite)” was developed to provide the school with an organized storage of information and to solve the flaw in the existing school reports generation. The system consists of seven modules. The first is the Account Management Module where the authentication of the users happens. Next is the Registration Module where the registration of students takes place. Then the Information Module which includes the information about the school, students, and teachers. The fourth is the Grades Module which takes charge for the management and uploading of the grades of the students. The fifth is the Activity Management Module which provides an annual school calendar for the activities of the school. The sixth is the Report Management Module which is accountable for generation of school reports. Lastly is the Content Module which is used to display schools’ departments and the related links that are connected to the school. The researchers used the Iterative Development Model as their methodology. This methodology is composed of different phases, and these are the data gathering phase, analysis and design phase, coding and programming phase, testing phase and evaluation phase. During the coding phase, the following tools were used to develop the system; Hypertext Markup Language 4, Php Hypertext Preprocessor 5.3.8 and JavaScript 1.8.5 as the scripting languages, My Structured Query Language 5.5.16 for the database and Apache for server, internet for the WAN connection, Adobe Photoshop for the enhancement of the interface of the system and Notepad++ as the editor for the script. The system was evaluated based on functionality, reliability, usability, efficiency, maintainability, and portability of the software. The acceptance level of the users was Stated in the evaluation of the system. With this, success was established in meeting the requirements and expectations needed by the institution.
