The study was conducted to determine the demographic characteristics of Job Experience Program recipient graduates of Cavite State University-Main Campus batch 2008 to 2013, describe their employment status and determine their savings and expenditure patterns. The study was conducted from August 2014 to January 2015. The major participants of this study are the Job Experience Program (JEP) recipient graduates from batch 2008 to 2013. Lists of JEP recipients were obtained from the Office of Student Affairs and Services (OSAS) and from the University Registrar. The study used total enumeration in determining the number of participants who were interviewed. Out of 150 participants, only 97 were qualified for the study. The data were gathered through the survey questionnaire provided by the researchers. Results of the study revealed that majority of the participants were female (72 %), ages 21 to 26 years old and still single. Nineteen percent of the participants took up the course of Bachelor in Secondary Education which gathered the highest number of participants answered. More than half of the participants (75%) have at least zero to one dependent. Approximately two-thirds of the participants were privately employed. Results revealed that the courses chosen and taken-up by the JEP recipient graduates were related to the job that they landed into. Forty-two percent of the participants' length of service in their company ranges from 3 to 20 months and 49 percent of them landed in the income bracket of P15,251 to P23,501. The savings patterns that surfaced were Low income x Low expenditure x High savings and High income x Low expenditure x High savings. The expenditure patterns that surfaced were: for low income group, Low basic necessities x High education x High medical needs x High leisure x High others and for high income group, Low basic necessities x High education x High medical needs x High leisure x Low others.
