Specifically, it aimed to determine the level of exposure of the participants to media platforms; to determine the level of media literacy of the participants; and to determine the relationship between the level of exposure to media platforms and the level of media literacy of the SPJ students. The study was conducted from October 2014 to February 2015. It employed complete or total enumeration technique in selecting the respondents of the study. Survey questionnaires were administered to 93 SPJ students of TNCHS. The participants' level of exposure to media platforms was measured by length of time reading the material; frequency of reading the material, and the amount of material and news information assessed. The level of media literacy was identified in terms of evaluation of information and analysis of information.
