Adviser: Dr. Luzviminda A. Rodrin. A study was conducted to provide information. on the livelihood projects in selected LGU's in Cavite from 2010 to 2014. Specifically, the study aimed to identify the livelihood present the livelihood projects implemented in selected LGUs in Cavite from 2010-2014, determine the. budget allocation and SOW-CZ of budget or the implementation of the livelihood projects from 2010-2014, determine the beneficiaries of the livelihood projects, describe the socio-economic characteristics of beneficiaries of the livelihood projects implemented by LGUs in selected areas of Cavite, determine the. benefits receive by the beneficiaries from the projects and determine the problems encountered on implementing the livelihood projects. The study was conducted from July 2015 to February 2016. Six LGUs implementing livelihood projects was included in the study. Slovin's Formula was employed to determine the number of beneficiaries who served as the participants of the study. The study covered 288 beneficiaries of livelihood projects. Questionnaire was used to gather necessary information for the study. Descriptive research design was used in presenting and analysing the date gathered. Frequency count, mean, range, rank, tables, and figures were used to present the objectives of the study. Findings of the study revealed the majority of livelihood projects implemented in selected LGUs in Cavite were Self-employment Assistance Project, Microenterprise Project, Practical Skills and Development Training. Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino was the major activities in the six municipalities considered in the study. The municipality of Alfonso the lowest allocated budget from 2010 to 2014 for they were able to implement few livelihood activities while General Trias had the highest allocated budget in 2013 but in 2014 Tanza had the highest allocated budget due to the budget allocated for Self-employment Assistance Projects. Majority of the beneficiaries of the livelihood projects were unemployed women and mother approximately P2,500-P11,666 household monthly income. Majority of the participants reported that they gated work experiences from the livelihood project they had availed. Problems encountered by the LGUswas identifying the projects that should be prioritized while particular problems was encountered as perceived by the beneficiaries in the implementation of the livelihood projects was lack of adequate supervision and good training.
