Abstract: AFABLE, JAN EMIL T., CRISOTOMO, JUSTIN LEE G., and VELASCO, JINKY P. Cucumber (Cucumis sativus) Bangkok Fl Hybrid var. Production Enterprise. Entrepreneurial Development Project Report. Bachelor in Agricultural Entrepreneurship Major in Crop Production. Cavite State University, Indang, Cavite. June 2019. Adviser: Ms. Joan T. Ducducan. The entrepreneurial development project was conducted at Barangay Mag-Asawang Ilat, SVD Road, Tagaytay City from January 2019 to April 2019. It aimed to: (1) earn profit from small-scale business project; (2) experience the work in farm and marketing of cucumber; and (3) know the profitability of Bangkok Fl Hybrid as variety of cucumber. This project was a partnership type of business that was managed by three entrepreneurs. The production enterprise was conducted on 600 m2 of land with 1,152 cucumber plants. The production activities involved purchasing of seed materials and other tools, land clearing, plot preparation, mulching, direct seeding, watering, trellising, weeding, fertilization, pruning, harvesting, sorting, packaging and marketing. The harvested cucumbers were marketed in Las Pinas, and Indang, Silang and Tagaytay City, Cavite. The problems encountered were pests like melon worm larvae, black vine weevil, squash beetle, cucumber beetle, powdery mildew and excessive watering. The total costs of production including the materials, tools, supplies, labor and other costs amounted to P 22,088.54. The total sales amounted to P 26,935 and the net income was P 4,646.46.
