Bachelor of Science in Computer Science. Cavite State University, Indang Campus. April 2016. Adviser: Ms. Julie Ann C. Lontoc. The study entitled "The Final Code: An Educational Role Playing Game for Computer Science and Information Technology Students" was developed to provide a different way to learn and enjoy the subjects of Computer Science and Information Technology using A* algorithm. The study was conducted from March 2015 to April 2016. Data were obtained from the library of Cavite State University-Main Campus. In developing the game software, iterative development process was used for the software to be done successfully. For the software development, Windows 8 was used as the operating system, Eclipse IDE as the programming language, Paint.NET for designs, and Microsoft Word for documentation. The software evaluation was performed to 100 college students of Cavite State University-Main Campus. The overall result of the software evaluation with the criteria of functionality, usability, efficiency, and portability shows that the software was excellently done. It means that the proponents met all the expectations and desired output of the developed software.
