Abstract: BALCE, AARON JHAY F. and MARASIGAN JARED M. ONLINE STUDENT INFORMATION SYSTEM FOR THE CITY COLLEGE OF TAGAYTAY. Undergraduate Thesis Bachelor of Science in Information Technology. Cavite State University, Indang Cavite. April 2015. Adviser: Ms. Aiza E. Bihis. This involved the analysis, design and development of an integrated Student Information System for the City College of Tagaytay. The study was conducted to develop a computerized records and to make work easier for releasing the grades of the students, submission of application forms for the admission process, and posting of news and announcements for the students. The general objective of the study was to develop an Online Student Information System for the City College of Tagaytay. The study was conducted in the City College of Tagaytay. The study started from the approval of the title in March 2014. The software and documentation was developed at Cavite State University was completed on February 2015. Prototy-ping Model of Software Development was used for the development of the system. It consists of seven phases namely: requirements gathering review and update, software design, prototyping, development, testing, and maintenance. In the development of the system, Windows 7 was used as the development platform, PHP as the programming language and MySQL for the database. The system is comprised of seven modules: account management module, student management module, subject module grade module, content management module, application management module, and report module. The Online Student Information System for the City College of Tagayaty was developed to help improve the manual way of keeping the student's record, manual releasing of grades, and the posting of important announcements. The study was also expected to improve the admission process, the study aims to improve the submission of application forms and help to make the work of the registrar's office easier. The proponents conclude that the system fully meets and far exceeds most of the expected output of the system, because of the result of the system evaluation done in the college. The software was evaluated and passed all the given criteria in evaluation and met all the features, functionality and the requirements to attain the objectives
